Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP In Through The Out Door by Led Zeppelin , UK first pressing from 1979 on Swan Song SSK 59410..
The etched matrix no.s are SSK 59410 A5 and SSK 59410 B5 with STRAWBERRY stamped into the dead wax on both sides.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with just a couple of tiny scuffs, and a few very faint paper lines from being put in and taken out of the card inner sleeve.. The labels are spotless with no stickers, writing, scuffs or stains. There are just a couple of very faint spindle marks on each side.
The matt cover is in Near Mint condition. There are no tears, splits, writing, shelf wear or stickers. The cardboard is as fresh and crisp as when it left the factory. The spine is perfect. I can find no faults at all. This is one of 6 variations of cover design and the letter A on the spine indicates this one is "Long shot, with barman".
The black and white, illustrated, card inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. No faults either.
The brown paper bag the whole package came in, likewise, is Near Mint. Barely a crease to be seen.
