Description
Nice clean and tidy copy of Led Zeppelin's 3rd album, dating from 1970. This does not have the 'Peter Grant' credit but is a very early copy indeed, as the original inner bag shows the correct release date of 10/70 (October 1970). The catalogue number is Atlantic 2401-002. Matrices are A5/B7, with 'Do What Thou Wilt' and 'So Mote It Be' etched on the dead wax.
Gatefold sleeve Ex- Fully laminated. In great shape throughout, light wear only. Slight creasing in top right-hand corner of the front. The rotating wheel is fully operational.
Labels Ex Fairly light spindlewear - not too many plays? Very clean indeed.
Inner VG+ Original polylined bag. Some age-yellowing and light creasing.
Record Visually VG+, a few light hairlines and sleeve-removal marks seen in normal light. There are also two tiny feelable scratches (3mm), one on Side 1 Track 2 and another on Side 2 Track 2. I have play-tested the album thoroughly and these don't seem to affect the sound quality. The audio is generally VG+, clear and powerful, but there is light crackle throughout (mainly on Side 2). There are no sticks or jumps on my deck.
