Description

You are bidding on a second pressing of Led Zeppelin's second LP "Led Zeppelin II" released on Atlantic 588 198 on the original plum & red labels. This has the "Killing Floor" label credit for "The Lemon Song". Curiously the right hand panel of the gatefold bares a sticker with the later catalogue number of K40037 that was introduced after the Kinney Group takeover. It's quite possible that this was a very late second pressing that remained in circulation after the 1972 switch to Kinney. This record has been professionally cleaned on a genuine Keith Monks cleaning system since which it has been played just once to create the online needle drop for you to self grade the audio. The record has been placed in a brand new inner sleeve and a poly outer sleeve. It has had just one owner, a Led Zeppelin fan who bought the record not long after its original release.
My audio gradings are always based on play through but listen online to make your own evaluation. The vinyl is clean and shiny with some expected surface marks that do not affect play and sounds terrific.
Both inner and outer sleeves show the usual signs of ware but are free of graffiti and in very good condition, see photos - 1 front, 2 rear, 3 gatefold, 4gatefold left 5 gatefold right, 6 inner, 7 side 1 label, 8 side 1 vinyl, 9 side 2 label, 10 side 2 vinyl & 11 pro cleaning session.
