Description

Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV Plum lbl, ver. 5. A3/B3 1971 UK vinyl
A match with this listing on Discogs - /release/439898-Led-Zeppelin-Untitled
This is the 5th of 9 known 'plum' label variations. Specific features for this: • 'Marketed by Polydor Records Limited' at 6 o'clock. • 'Under license from Atlantic Recording Corpn.' in white area under 'Atlantic' on left side. • 'Led Zeppelin' is printed above spindle hole. (Variation 3 had a printed label in smaller type-face, and Variations 1 and 2 had the band name printed below the spindle hole in the 'plum' section.) • Catalogue number at 3 o'clock above circular 'Atlantic' logo reads 'deluxe 2401012' • There is no 'Executive Producer Peter Grant' credit on the label but the printed inner sleeve still retains the credit. • Side B has the following error: 'Misty Mountain Hop' is misspelt as 'Misty Mountain Top'.
The vinyl has light marks in general, except for one visible surface scuff on side 1, track 3 (see photo) - although this stands out it visually, it does not cause any jumps or deep bg noise - overall the LP plays with a bit of pop and crackle in places but very good  listen
PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS
The gatefold sleeve is solid , some rubbing /storage wear generally, no major rips or stains, spine is a little flat but nice. Inside looks good
The original inner is there - it is however a little frayed on the opening edge, with a chunk missing and has been taped around edges for security.
Labels look great - not a bad copy overall

There are a few marks , no deep scratches , I tried to show the mist obvious ones in the photos , they are very light

It plays well , there is nothing to negatively impact play- no jumps , a very good listen overall , occasional crackle and there were a few light ticks on GTC

Starting bid is relatively low, please feel free to make an offer
