5 STARS - Near Mint/Like New. Now, this does not mean they are "Perfect". Everyone knows, or should know, that sometimes vinyl CAN come fresh from the factory with minor defects, bends, seem splits, etc. I am not a dealer. These are records I bought and immediately stored away in my personal collection. Most of them are literally in the exact same condition as they were the day I bought them new; as I rarely played records.
4 STARS - Very Good. Overall clean looking cover. Not perfect. Vinyl clean of any major flaw or defects. Again, maybe not perfect. Has all original liner notes, jackets, lyric sheets, etc.
3 STARS - Good. Usually an older/classic record. May or may not have all original inserts, liners, lyric sheets. Disc very playable but will have visible marks, etc. Cover will be overall pretty decent but will have marks along edges, corners may be bent a bit, discoloration, etc.
2 STARS - Poor. Playable. Discs may be slightly warped, have scratches and may skip (certainly on cheaper tables). They will crackle and pop a lot when played. Cover will most likely have tears, splits, bends, etc.
1 STARS - Very Poor. These are records that could probably be given away or maybe even tossed but I can't bring myself to do it because they are 'classics'. May have no jackets.
