I bought this brand new 12 years ago or so as led zeppelin vinyl was hard to get at the time,as they hadn't done any re-releases


As far as it possible to do a led zeppelin 'greatest hits', this is it. And it was apparently mastered at half speed. It sounds much better than the CD version which suffered from the 'loudness wars'.


Selling cause I've got all the albums on the recent vinyl remasters


I gave this a listen before I listed it, and the the records have a bit of 'cackle' on them for some reason, they've always been like that and you notice more on the quieter bits , the john bonham and Jimmy page discs are a bit more noticeable than the other 2.


If you want to hear a perfect version of this I suppose you can listen to it on cd or streaming.
