PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL COMPLETE COPY THAT IS STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL "TOMBSTONE" HYPE STICKER.
I'M GRADING THIS WHOLE PACKAGE AS EXCELLENT CONDITION. I DO NOT GRADE LPs AS EXCELLENT VERY OFTEN. THIS COPY HAS JUST A FEW VERY MINOR FLAWS. I WOULD HAVE USED "CURATOR'S GLOVES", IF I HAD A PAIR.
I WAS VERY TEMPTED TO GRADE THIS PACKAGE AS NEAR MINT, BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT BECAUSE OF A FEW VERY MINOR FLAWS AS FOLLOWS:
1) THE VINYL HAS A FEW VERY LIGHT SURFACE MARKS TYPICAL WITH AN EXCELLENT GRADING.
2) VERY MINOR SHELF WEAR TO THE COVER, I.E. MINOR RING WEAR / FADING, SOFT CORNERS / CORNER DINGS / MINOR CREASES, SMALL TEARS IN THE SHRINK, ETC...
IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU, PLEASE DON'T BUY IT.
Up for sale is one (1) Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti 2LP from 1975 on Swan Song Records (#SS 2-200). First pressing with NO BARCODE.
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME!
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition with minimal wear typical with a Excellent grading. Even with a Excellent grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.Nice, clean labels.
The die-cut cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in Excellent condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, crumples, scrapes, dings and ring wear all of which are typical. There are No Split Seams.
The shrink wrap that are typical with age. The original price sticker is still affixed to the front cover. It may come off with some elbow grease, but I'm leaving it as-is.
The custom foldover inner insert is in Excellentcondition with minimal wear from age, including corner dings and edge fraying.
The original "Tombstone" Hype Sticker is in Excellentcondition with minimal wear from age.
The custom inner sleeves are in Excellent condition with minimal wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, and ring wear. There are No Split Seams, but there are minor stress points that may or may lead to a split if the LPs are left in the inner sleeves.
The LPs are now in plain white inner sleeves.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played back in the day. I had other copies. This copy got THE KID GLOVES TREATMENT. It has not been played in many years.
