Description of the record:

This is a double album by Led Zeppelin called “Physical Graffiti”; this is a first pressing matrix numbers A1, B4, C1 and D1; see below for further details:

Outer Sleeve graded VG:

The outer sleeve has been graded as VG all the windows are intact. There is some price label removal damage (see picture) and minor edge ware and scuffing resulting from storage without a plastic protector. It ticks all the boxes as a first pressing. Top loading cover constructed of thick ridged card with the following text printed on the back; top centre.

SWAN SONG/484 KINGS ROAD, LONDON SW10

Guilderstead Ltd., trading as Swan Song

A Swan Song/Atlantic recording distributed by WEA Records Ltd., P & C 1975

The group name, record title and catalogue number run down the left hand side spine, viewed from the front these are printed in red.

Inner sleeves graded Ex:

The inner sleeves have some very minor ware and are printed in thick card with an untreated finish on the inside. They have SSK 89400/A and SSK 89400/B respectively printed on the back in the bottom right corner.

Insert graded Ex:

The insert has some minor ware. It credits the printers as:

Gothic Print Finishers Ltd., London SE9 2EQ

The catalogue number and address as:

Swan Song SSK 89400

SWAN SONG 484 KINGS ROAD LONDON SW10

Labels graded as Mint:

The labels are perfect; no sign of spindle ware. They are all clearly marked as “Made in the UK” and have NO circular WB (Warner Brothers) logo.

Records graded Side A, B, C and D as Ex

The records visually look unplayed apart from some scuffing caused by the abrasive texture of the inner sleeves. Upon playing the records I’ve graded them as Ex; there is a mark/scratch that you can feel between the 1st and 2nd track on side 4 which is 5mm long but having played it it has little effect on audio; no clicks, jumps just a slight increase in back ground noise. The records have been removed from the inner sleeves and placed in white inner sleeves to prevent damage occurring to the outer sleeve, inner sleeves and records. This is an original release on Swansong from 1975. The code for the album is SSK 89400; the matrixes and running order are listed below:

Side A: SSK 89400 A1

  1. Custard Pie
  2. The Rover
  3. In my time of dying

Side B: SSK 89400 B4

  2. Trampled under foot
  3. Kashmir

Side C: SSK 89400 C1

  2. Bron-yr aur
  3. Down by the seaside
  4. Ten years gone

  1. Night flight
  2. The wanton song
