Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti, LP, SSK 89400 A1/B4/C1/D1, VG+

General: Since I have converted my vinyl collection to digital I have no further use for the original albums and so I am selling some of them. That is to say, I am not a dealer. I have always been very careful handling my records so the condition of the vinyl is generally good. For most of the time I have owned them, my albums have been stored vertically. I will play every album before listing and record extracts from a couple of tracks, the links to which you will find below. Description: Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti, LP, SSK 89400 A1/B4/C1/D1, VG+ Vinyl: The surfaces of both disks are reasonably clean showing only light marks (in bright sunshine) commensurate with normal handling. There is some surface noise/vinyl crackle plus a few isolated clicks. There is a small scratch on Ten Years Gone which you can hear in the sample below. The samples have been selected for their quieter passages as it's impossible to hear any flaws on the louder passages! The Matrix numbers inscribed on the run-out grooves are as given in the heading. Outer Sleeve: The outer sleeve is basically in VG/VG+ condition with just light scuff marks where it has rubbed against its neighbours in the rack. However, there is a tear in the right-hand edge at the point where the vinyl disks have impacted against the outer sleeve. Inner Sleeve: The two inner sleeves of printed card are both in at least VG+ condition and I am tempted to say Excellent. The additional printed insert is also completely undamaged. Any other comments: I have owned this album since new although I can't now remember when I bought it. Probably mid-to-late 1970s.
