Gorgeous NEAR MINT example of this super-rare BBC Transcription Services double LP, issued in the late '70s, and featuring an archive recording from Stoke-On-Trent, 15 January 1973.






The label gives the title as 'Prehistoric Sounds of Led Zeppelin', but the LP is so rare that there is not a single Google search on this phrase. Check it out! Released only to BBC affiliated radio stations for a limited period, less than 200 copies are thought to have been pressed. 30 years later how many are still in this condition? Looks pretty much unplayed, only the tiniest of marks, the track listing /info sheet is pristine, the sleeve is in excellent condition, with a crisp straight spine, with some minor bends and the remains of a price sticker on the top right corner.

Please note that this LP and another similar Zep BBC disc has been bootlegged and faked, but only the original BBC discs have green and black print on the labels and laminated mustard coloured sleeves with green print - counterfeit issues with inferior sound quality have plain card sleeves with black print and black print only on the labels.
