From our personal collection comes this Ultra Rare and long out of print JimmyPage collectible double album set entitled, "James PatrickPage: SessionMan", and issued in a super-scarce, ORIGINAL limited colored vinyl edition on the legendary and long-defunct Slipped Disc record label, which managed to release a few of these and other rare titles before all copies were apparently mysteriously destroyed. This deluxe copy comes with a color cover and the original Slipped Disc black and white labels, in addition to the gorgeous pink wax LPs (see our pics). Cover is in nice Very Good Plus (VG+) shape, with the usual corner dings, some creasing around the corners, and average ringwear you'd expect from a title more than 25 years old. Both LPs and labels are in really nice, clean VG++ shape: a bright (pink) glossy sheen, with no marks, scratches, skips, or pressing defects that we know of (it has been years since we played this gem, but even then it was one or two times at the most after we bought this in the 1980s). This remarkable set compiles and documents many of the '60s recordingsessions for other artists across the stylistic spectrum (pop, rock, psychedelia, British Invasion, garage, bubblegum) that Pagey played on as a studio guitar hotshot -- mostly uncredited -- before he joined the Yardbirds and then launched Led Zeppelin. You can see the tracklist  from our back cover pic and find out more about this highly collectible set on any Zep fansites on the interwebs, but suffice it to say, you don't see this beauty very often. Only the second copy we've seen in 30+ years of traveling the globe, collecting, ad haunting/hunting down some of the rarest wax in some of the best record stores in the world. Unfortunately, we need to thin the herd and so hope this terrific and well cared-for piece finds a living, loving home.
