Description

Lee Konitz     In Harvard Square      Storyville 323  10 Inch record  mono deep groove

Lee Konitz ( as), Ronnie Ball (p), Peter Ind (b), Jeff Morton Recorded 1955

Red and black label and deep groove both sides. "Boston, Mass."  address on back cover. No writing on spine.

Record looks VG++ and plays VG+. Like most 10 inch records it doesn't play as well as it looks. Record plays with light to moderate noise throughout which is below the level of the music and not intrusive. No distortion and music is enjoyable. No scratches and no serious scuffs. Grooves do not look worn.

Cover is VG+

The front cover has only light wear and is bright and glossy. Back cover has moderate wear with some serious water damage.  No split seams.  Spots of heavy wear at the corners.

I WILL BE RUNNING WEEKLY AUCTIONS OF 50s and 60s JAZZ LPS INC BLUE NOTE  1500s PRESTIGE NYCs TRANSITIONS ETC. MANY WEEKS AND SOME HIGH END ITEMS TO COME.

My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
