Remarks:
In spite of 2 inch scratch, this is definitely a collector's LP. Alto saxophonist Lee Konitz's original mentor, Lennie Tristano, appears on the first five tracks of this seminal 1955 LP, which gathers some of the greatest original bop recordings ever recorded (1949-50).
