Description
Prestige PRLP 108 Blue and silver label, deep groove. 4 tracks from 1950 with Lee Konitz, alto sax, with Billy Bauer, guitar; Arnold Fishkind, bass; Jeff Morton, drums (1 track with just Konitz and Bauer). 2 tracks from 1949 with Stan Getz, tenor sax with Al Haig, piano; Gene Ramey, bass; Stan Levey, drums. 2 tracks from 1950 with Getz, tenor sax with Tony Aless, piano; Percy Heath, bass; Don Lamond, drums. All tracks recorded in NYC.
Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean with light aging on the back cover. Fine condition.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Minor, tiny mark on Track 1, Side 1. This results in 2 light clicks. No other markings on the vinyl surface. There are several clicks and light crackles on other tracks. There is about the same on each side. This noise is not continious and is probably a result of the early pressing. Fine overall condition. I have given the overall rating based on what I heard as surface noise. Audibly checked.
