Lee Konitz  ' The real Lee Konitz '  ATLANTIC 1273 (USA) mono black label with deep groove - issued in 1958   Lee Konitz : alto sax - Billy Bauer : guitar - Peter Ind : bass - Dick Scott : drums - Don Ferrara : trumpet (on 2 tracks only) Side 1 : Straightaway (Konitz) - Foolin' myself (Razaf-Waller) - You go to my head (Coots-Gillespie) - My melancholy baby (Burnett-Norton) Side 2 : Pennies in minor (Konitz) - Sweet and lovely (Arnheim-Tobias) - Easy living (Rainger-Robin) - Midway (Konitz)
Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has very light wear. Has a micro bubble in the first grooves of side 1. Clean labels with just a trace of spindle wear Playing grading : record is VG plays with loud and clear sound but has occasional background noise, some occasional light ticks and few loud pops. These faults are possibly due to the vinyl's nature of this 50's record  Cover grading : cover is VG+ very nice front, has wear to corners.
