Description
This is Lee Morgan's fourth Blue Note album, catalog 1575 "City Lights" with Curtis Fuller, George Coleman, Ray Bryant, Paul Chambers and Art Taylor. The vinyl is VG with multiple scuffs and hairlines but plays with nice fidelity on my Thorens TD-124 with SME arm and Ortofon SPU cartridge. There is some surface noise which is noticeable for the most part at the beginning of both sides and during very quiet passages. Not a perfect copy but will do just fine until that mint one comes your way. There are deep-grooves on both sides and both the "RVG" and "ear" are in the dead wax. The lables have the "47 W. 63rd" address on both sides. The jacket is REALLY nice with no splits or siginificant seam wear--there are corner dings and one small pen mark on the back--this is really a SOLID VG++ jacket.
