Vinyl: Visually, the vinyl is somewhere between VG and VG Minus. It’s a little dull and there are a few minor scratches (nothing serious or deep). However, Side 1 plays through with a number of significant ticks in a few places. None of the ticks actually skip and they doesn’t ruin the listening experience for me (your mileage may vary), but it’s noticeable enough to where I feel like a “G” is a fair grade. To give you an idea of what to expect, I’ve included an unedited, unprocessed recording of the title track which has the most (by far) ticks. You’ll notice that the ticks disappear after the first 30 seconds and reappear briefly around the 3m12s mark:
“Expoobident”
The following track on Side 1 has fewer ticks than “Expoobident” and the final track has even fewer. There are only a small handful of ticks on Side 2. Side 2 plays like it looks (somewhere between VG and VG minus).
Cover: Front cover has some dirt and a couple of fairly prominent stains just to the right of Lee’s left hand (see photo). The back cover has some dirt and discoloration, upper right corner has some writing (“149” in black ball point pen) and a small stamp (“V J U”), a 1” piece of clear tape on the left side, and a 1” in diameter black/indigo stain that obscure’s part of the 1st and 2nd paragraph’s of the liner notes. Top seam is split (approximately. 50%) and the bottom seam has a 1” split. The spine is worn, but intact.
