Description
Rare, minty copy of Lee Morgan's record Here's Lee Morgan. This is the Vee Jay Stereophonic issue, SR 3007. I would say this is as close to perfect as I've seen, save for a 1"-1.5" beginning seam split along the top right of the jacket. Still, the sleeve is glossy, and the record is fantastic - I'd say it's NM/NM+, being very conservative and overly honest. You will be pleased with this one.
Online research may lead you to believe this is a Japanese reissue pressing from 1977, but it's missing a bit of text below the Art Blakey on the front cover, and has no mention of Japanese pressing anywhere on the art/packaging. Further, it's a microgroove recording, and the Japanese pressing is a deep groove. This is just an early Stereophonic pressing that's hard to find.
