Description
Lee Morgan The Sidewinder Blue Note Lp 4157
Lp in WORN or POOR condition. The sleeve is in what I am calling VG condition. There are no splits on the seam. The shrink wrap is still on about half of the sleeve. There is a small blue ink mark on the back and there is a mark on the shrink wrap over Joe Hendersons name. (See photos for details)
Normally I would not list Lps in WORN condition but perhaps someone is looking for a copy for wall art or has a nice vinyl copy but would like to upgrade the sleeve.
I cleaned the record a few times with a Spin Clean Record Washer MK II. Here are the notes I made during playback. I listened to the Lp three times. That alone was a lot of fun!
SIDE 1
The Sidewinder - plays all the way through with heavy surface noise Totem Pole - has a skip 1/2 way through Joe Henderson's solo also has two repeats during Barry Harris's solo. One toward the beginning and the other toward the end. There is another repeat during the head out of Totem Pole
SIDE 2
Gary's Notebok - plays all the way through with heavy surface noise Boy, What A Night - repeats at toward the end Hocus Pocus - plays all the way through with heavy surface noise
