Description

Blue Note ST-84157, stereo. NY USA address on both labels; 43 West 61st address on the bottom of the back cover. Record has "ear" and van gelder" inscribed in the dead wax. Includes leader, Morgan, trumpet; Joe Henderson, tenor sax; Barry Harris, piano; Bob Cranshaw, bass; Billy Higgins, drums. Cover: VG Intact with some edge and corner wear. Partial record ring on the front and back cover. Some aging on the back cover witha small stain on the upper edge margin and some small stains along the spine margin of the back cover. This may have been caused by asome droplets of liquid. This damage is superficial and only causes minor distortion of the cover. Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 2 very light, short rub marks on the surface. Played several times. A few very light crackles at the very beginning few revolutions on Side 1 Track 1. This quickly disappears and there is no other surface noises. Excellent sound quality. No other surface noise. The noise described is very short and could be considered. minor. I have graded conservatively. Audibly checked.
