Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Lee Morgan “The Cooker” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1578.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once; light inaudible storage splotching on Side 1.  The laminated West 61st St. second issue cover has water stains on the top, bottom, and right borders of the back slick, especially at the top right corner where there is a slight curve on the front; ½” wear at the bottom of the spine.  Personnel include Pepper Adams, Bobby Timmons, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.  $600.00...
