Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Lee Morgan “Candy” on the West 63rd (no “INC”) labels of Blue Note BLP 1590. The playing surface has a very high luster and shows no groove wear; however, Side 1 has two small inaudible scuffs and Side 2 has an inaudible handling mark and an audible scratch at the center of Track 1. The laminated West 63rd cover is bright and clean throughout; a superficial 1 ½” crease at the lower right corner of the front. Personnel include Sonny Clark, Doug Watkins, and Art Taylor.
