Vinyl= Strong VG Various light surface marks, no deep scratches, it does have the type of blemishes seen from being stored in the old style wax paper sleeve and could use a professional VPI cleaning. Overall I'd give it a play grade of VG+, minimal surface, except for the first minute or so on the first track on side 1 that has very light "whoosh" on every rotation, not a loud click or pop just light noise that I would associate with something in the grooves during that section, perhaps this also could be remedied with a VPI cleaning. Other than that section it's a great listen, loud and clear with minimal surface noise. RVG and Ear in the run out.
Cover=VG/VG- Seam wear, bottom seam split nearly to the spine, dulling/wear on the front laminated cover, yellowing on the back cover. Looks much better when housed in a nice heavy plastic sleeve. The pictures should answer any more questions of Blue Note minutiae as far as the proper addresses and label specifics.
Description: Solid copy of this rare classic from the revered Lee Morgan. Would make a great addition to any serious Blue Note collection.
