Description
Here is "Cloak and Dagger" by Lee Scratch Perry and the Upsetters in it's original Jamaican pressing from 1972. Superb record that is widely considered to be one of the first dub albums ever (I'd like to point out that dub has it's origins in the 7" single with the remixed "version" on the B-side, but this was one of the first long players to feature "versions".) Deadwax reads: SRNN 7001 B-2 U PORKY-APPLE-BEATLES. Album also features the great Tommy McCook. Somewhere I read that there were only 300 of these pressed, but I can't confirm that (nor deny it as only around 5 copies have ever shown up on ebay.) The record is in VG+ condition with some light hairlines and a little light surface noise. Exceptional condition for a Jamaican original. 7.5 out of 10. This record was not originally released with a picture sleeve. I have seen a plain white sleeve that had the title stamped on it but this copy just comes in a plain white sleeve that shows shelf wear and has a little pen writing on each side.
