Description

Vinyl is in VG to VG+ (conservative).  
Visually, there are only very light scratches.  I graded the vinyl VG to VG+ because there is a constant hiss, not overpowering but surely noticeable.  This hiss is only audible during the low, soft parts of the recordings which comprises most of Lee's work.  During the occasional loud passages (when the entire ensemble is playing), the hiss cannot be heard. 
I am playing this with a Stanton 500 MK II cartridge and a 1 mil stylus with 1 gram tracking.
I don't know why the hiss is present.  Visually, the grade is much better than VG+ and there's no indication visually that the record shouldn't play very well. 
Jacket is very decent with good spine and no split seams, but with slight discoloration on the obverse lower right corner (shown)
