1969 UK 1st PRESSING ZAPPLE LP

This superb & rare 1969 UK 1st pressing is on the dark green Apple label: ZAPPLE 01
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Apple Records....' rims.

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.
Complete with original white 'Patents Applied for' inner-sleeve without printed text.

Matrix numbers: ZAPPLE 01 A 1 & ZAPPLE 01 B 1
Stamper numbers: 1/R & 1/H

No spindle marks or trails. Visual: NEAR MINT

Superb clean & high-gloss surfaces which bear just a single faint stylus hairline on side 1 but absolutely no other marks or scratches elsewhere.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals no sleeve removal hairlines or any other blemishes.
100% flat on both sides on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Played just once.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A fine undamaged high-gloss laminate bearing a just few light wrinkles to the edges and two small 'thumbnails' but no heavy creases or major wear.
There is minor shelfwear to the lower corners but no bumps and both opening edges are clean sharp & unworn.
There rear panel has some light wrinkles to the upper right corner, but no other wear.
Both seams and the spine are clean, undamaged and unsplit.
