THE PLASTIC ONO BAND
'LIVE PEACE IN TORONTO 1969'
On the dark green Apple label: CORE 2001
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold cover.
This early copy is complete with its orignal stapled binding, 13-month 'John & Yoko Calendar' printed in the UK by 'Templering Limited, Micham, Surrey'.
Also present is the original 'Patents No. 1,125,555' plain white inner-sleeve.

A rich & clean set with just a small number of spindle trails to the side 2 label and just one to side 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT -
Side 1 of this rare copy is extremely clean, glossy with the only significant blemish being a 2.5cm scratch at the beginning of track 2. Side 2 however has some clouding to the playing surface but has no other problems in strong daylight. Close inspection of both surfaces directly beneath halogen light show up just some insignificant wispy paper hairlines but no other major faults. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable on both sides.
Play: 1. EXCELLENT 2. EXCELLENT +
This copy has received just a few careful on side 1 and apart from a few light clicks at the beginning of 'Money' there are no further audible faults or wear to either side. Side 2 has probably only been played one or twice at most and plays perfectly. The aforementioned clouding does not affect sound or play.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
Clean, strong & glossy with just a few light laminate wrinkles to the front panel and some flecks of missing paper to the uncovered edges on the rear. However, all corners, edges, seams and the spine are undamaged.
Calendar
EXCELLENT +
Clean, white and unmarked throughout with just a few light handling wrinkles but no tears or any other faults.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Clean & flat with light/normal storagwear but no writing, tears or splits.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
