1969 UK 1st PRESSING & PICTURE SLEEVE 45
**PLUS MINT, ORIGINAL APPLE PRESS LEAFLET**
A rare chance to acquire an outstanding 1st issue copy of this legendary 45 together with its original Apple press release leaflet.
This outstanding 1969 early 1st pressing is on the UK dark green Apple label with rarer 'push-out' centre: APPLE 13
This rare early example also carries its Parlophone catalogue number on each label: R5795
The 'KT' tax/price code is stamped in both run-outs.
The disc is housed in its matt, card picture sleeve complete with its original colour Apple press release leaflet.
Matrix numbers: APPLE 13 A-1 & APPLE 13 A-1
Stamper numbers: 8/GDR & 2/GPR
No spindle marks to either label.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces are glossy & clean bearing just a few small hairlines around the edge of side 1 visible directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no other significant marks or scratches to either side which both lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This disc has recieved just a few careful plays and the sound on both sides is clear & clean throughout with no groovewear or background noise.
Apart from a little light crackle on the run-ins, both sides play without fault.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A really top-class example with completely flat, uncreased panels, square & sharp corners and undamaged opening edges.
The rear shows a few very faint marks from storage but is no ringwear, splits, tears or writing anywhere.
Press Release: MINT
Totally 'as new' with no wear, marks or damage anywhere.
