Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- The Seller tells a good story about this one. From 1969 to 1972 there was constant demand in his record store for this title. But he could never get it. So, he became a Takoma Records distributor.
- This Promotional Copy was given to him by Takoma as a kick-off to the distribution agreement in 1972. Many copies of the black label edition are listed as 1969 First Pressings. Not true. The black label edition was not released until 1972.
- This is a First Pressing of the black label version which is the second edition of this title. The first edition had an orange label.
- The original plain die-cut sleeve is included.
- This copy has never been played.
- It has been in storage for 45 years.
