Description
Leo Kottke - 6 and 12-String Guitar.
Extremely rare vinyl LP - US 1st pressing from 1969 on the Takoma label: C-1024. The runout etched is C-1024-1 & C-1024-2.
It has (confirmed by discogs) the first Takoma label design used on this record ie matt orange with purple T arrow (rather than the black and gold one with two dragons which followed) and it has the catalogue number C-1024 and stereo designation on the right of both labels.
The catalogue number is also printed in the bottom right corner of the front cover. P.O. Box 5403, Santa Monica, Cal. 90405 address is printed on the back cover. The print on the spine should read: Leo Kottke Takoma C1024 - but the artist's name has been lost in 2 inches of damage,
The record - Leo Kottke's debut wide release on John Fahey's Takoma label - is in good,clean condition. The sleeve is made of thick cardboard sleeve and is generally fine apart from the spine and a 2-inch and 4-inch split at the top and bottom of the opening edge. Comes with plain white inner.
