Victor 22856

Play-graded using a 1970's BSR record player, 33/45/78 with a stylus for 78 rpm records.

 

Reisman: That's Why Darkies Were Born--recorded on October 26, 1931. Vocal by Philip Steele.
Van Steeden: Hiding in the Shadows of the Moon--recorded on November 2, 1931. Vocal by Smith Ballew.


Light Scuffs/scratches; generally bright. Slight spotting to label area and dead wax, as pictured. Could probably be removed with a cleaning.

Play graded at E-/E barely noticeable surface noise. Bright, distinct, vibrant recordings.

Comes with what I presume to be the original sleeve. Certainly has an early 1930's look to it.
