Condition: Vinyl=VG+ (some light marks, nothing major, check the sound clips)   Cover=VG+ (generic white tipped on cover)

 Description: Truly rare funk/soul record from Leon Peterson-Now on the Romer Records label out of Los Angeles, CA. The term rare gets thrown around often in the record realm (I'm guilty of the hype myself truth be told), but here we have a record that definitely deserves the label. As far a we can find, no copy of this record has ever surfaced for sale online. Nor is there any info on this record on the internet. By the looks of this pressing with its generic white sleeve, it's highly unlikely that this ever saw a commercial release. Our best guess is that this was a very limited test pressing only. All speculation of course, if anyone reading this has any info please pass it along, we'd love to hear if anybody knows anything about this record. All that said, there are lot's of obscure records that deserve be just that, obscure. Leon Peterson-Now is not one of those records. What we have here is an amazing slice of early 70's funk and soul. I could go on and on but I won't, I'll let the clips below do the talking. Hopefully some enterprising reissue label owner is trying to track down the masters as we speak, because this record deserves to be heard.
