Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a soft poly inner sleeve..
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is a First Pressing of a Smash Records Promotional copy of the original 1968 release.
- This copy has never been played.
- The crossed out area at the bottom of the gold Smash Records label is: 'Promotional Copy Not For Sale'. It was probably crossed out so someone could sell it as a commercial stock copy.
- The Unipak, inside-loading gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows slight shelf wear including a minor crease on the left side of the front cover.
- Includes the original generic inner sleeve. I have added a soft poly inner sleeve.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got in his record store around 1971. It has been in storage for more than 50 years.
