Mint condition Box Set collection of the 1973 Leonard Bernstein Norton Lectures. An incredible journey through the very origins of music through today. This is the complete set consisting of 6 boxes, totaling 17 record albums. All original sleeves. Light scuffing on some of the box covers. Bernstein is at his powerful best at the piano explaining the how & why we hear & understand music to this audience. He is accompianied by the New York Philharmonic, the Harvard Glee Club, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. See the photos for an idea of all the master composers and significant works he discusses and conducts excerpts from. (Don't piece together the whole set from different sellers with unknown quality and an expensive shipping total.... buy the entire set here for less than it would cost from all the individual auctions.)
