Description

Celebrate the artistry of Leonard Cohen with this Popular Problems vinyl record and CD set. Released in 2014 to coincide with Cohen's 80th birthday, this album is a testament to his enduring genius and creative vitality. Popular Problems is widely regarded as one of Cohen's finest works, earning critical acclaim for its profound lyrics, haunting melodies, and masterful production.

This album features nine tracks that explore themes of love, loss, and the human condition, delivered with Cohen's signature gravelly voice and poetic brilliance. Highlights include "Almost Like the Blues," a poignant reflection on the world's sorrows, and "Nevermind," which gained further recognition as the theme song for True Detective Season 2. Critics praised the album for its stripped-down arrangements and emotional depth, with many calling it a late-career masterpiece.
