LEONARD COHEN - 'SONGS FROM A ROOM'
1969 UK 1st PRESSING* LP
This barely played 1969 UK 1st stereo pressing is on the orange & black CBS label: S 63587
The disc is housed within thick, front laminated UK printed cover with a gold 'stereo' indicator sticker on the reverse.
Also present is its plain white 'Patent No...' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: SBPG 63587 A1 & SBPG 63587 B5

A bright & clean pair with no more than a handful of light spindle marks to each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are extremely bright & retain all of their 'as new' deep gloss shine. Inspection in strong daylight shows up a few minor blemishes from inner-sleeve storage but no scratches or scuffs of any kind. Close examination directly beneath halogen light reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow gloss and a few harmless wispy paper hairlines.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has been barely played and all tracks play perfectly cleanly & clearly with no traces of any background noise or groove/play wear. My careful play check uncovered no clicks, pops, ticks or any other such audible distractions on this intimate album.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An extremely strong and clean example with a high-gloss, uncreased front panel which bears little more than a touch of storage rubbing. All corners and opening edges are undamaged and the rear panel is free from any marks, writing or missing paper. All seams and the spine are fully intact and unworn.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Some light handling wrinkles and small side seam splits.
