Leonard Cohen  "Songs Of Leanard Cohen"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Columbia Cl 2733  from 1967.     This is the mono pressing of his first album.     It has his most famous song : 'Suzanne'.   It includes the folding lyric insert.      It's very hard to find in Mono.    

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG

The cover is VG+ with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   There is light overall cover wear.    There is one inch of seam wear on the left spine at the very bottom.      There is a drill hole at top right.      The drill hole also goes through the lyric insert.     The side one vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG.   That is because there is one scratch on side one.     It goes through songs 1 & 2 and 4 & 5.     Song one plays with no pops, there are light pops between song one and two, song two plays with no pops, song four plays with a few pops at the very end, there are pops between song four and song five, and song five plays with light pops at the very beginning.       If it weren't for this scratch it would be near mint.     Side two looks VG+ and plays VG+.     The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a plain white plastic lined inner sleeve. 

The songs are : Suzaane, Master Song, Winter Lady, The Strange Song, Sisters Of Mercy, So Long Marianne, Hey That's No Way To Say Goodbye, Stories Of The Street, Teachers, and One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 9 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 25 ounces ( 1 pound, 9 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
