Description

Leonard Cohen

“Songs Of Love And Hate”

Columbia Records C 30103

LP Released in 1971

This is his third album, and this copy is from very first US pressing, with the plain black inner sleeve and the 6-page little booklet with credits and notes.  This is still in the original shrink-wrap with the promotional tracklist sticker on the back (the sticker is on the shrink, not the cover.  It is pretty rare to find a complete set, and this one is in amazing condition.

The grade of the record is VG++ with only a couple of very light surface-only marks that do not affect play.  The cover is VG+ with very light wear and one small ding on one corner.  There is an old price tag on the shrink-wrap.  The booklet is NM and looks untouched.

Domestic shipping within the lower 48 states of the USA is $4.00 for first item, $1.00 each additional item – shipping to everywhere else is air mail only and will be determined at end of auction.  I will ship worldwide; if you are an international buyer, please wait for my invoice with the shipping rate.  PayPal is the preferred method of payment.  All records are shipped in corrugated cardboard boxes with corrugated cardboard pads for secure shipping to anywhere in the world.

Grading is done according to the Goldmine Grading Standards using the following scale: Mint/NM/VG/G/P with the appropriate + or - to further describe the condition.  “Mint” is essentially new, and “Poor” is essentially unplayable.  I do not use ‘Excellent’ in my grading model because Goldmine doesn’t use it, and it has no standard meaning.  I have 19 years of experience with the Goldmine system, and grade conservatively so you’ll have no surprises.
