Les Baxter acetate advance copy of either actual release or possible release. this bears two possible album titles, one in ink on cover is "music of the 60's" and one on the label reads "tiki sings". this was made at fidelity recording studios.
the jacket is white label with hand stamped "advance copy", not unlike the infamous tmoq releases that were soon to appear. it is in good shape with minor spotting and no split seams. someone has handwritten the contents in ink in front. the stamp makes this a really excellent looking jacket.
the album has 4 tracks. the first two i believe were released on the dionysus reissue from a few years ago of this KTTV live performance. tracks 3 and 4 sound like studio takes or demos. this album has surface noise, pops and clicks. mostly concerning tracks 1 and 2. 3 and 4 seem less actively noisey. tgis played all the way through with no skips or jumps. i beleive noise is not terminal and could sonically be removed or cleaned up a bit with a software program.
track one is "ruby" and has theremin and orchestra. track two is "quiet village" and has pleasant applause at the end.
track 3 is "jungle fantasy" and track 4 is "jungle fifes(sic?)". these have amazing minimal sound, just percussion and flute. percussion has that classic jungle voodoo beat with great far away sound. the flute is expertly played. jungle fantasy has a beatnik jazz feel with some sam rivers style flair and psychedelic overtones. jungle fifes is a moody, short piece that has some seconds of silence in the outro grooves. not sure of whether these two tracks have been released and my limited google search found little information insofar as if Les had released these two recordings in any way. i will gladly hear from any of you who may have history knowledge of this and post results here while auction is running.

looking at pics i notice some devices a yellow/green tint to photos; the actual color is a bone or ivory white for the jacket and off-white label, not the tint of the current pics which were taken in evening low light. we apologize for that and thanks for your interest.

there is also a noticeable gap or pause between tracks 2 and 3, possibly to denote transition from kttv show to the studio tracks

the solo in ruby is a yma sumac style female vocalist, not a theremin.
