ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This lovely LP from Deutsche Grammophon (2538 016, LP pressed in Germany / jacket printed in France, AH tulip label, stereo) entitled “Les Bis de Christian Ferras” features the great violinist in a captivating recital of encore pieces, made in December 1968 with the splendid pianist Jean-Claude Ambrosini. One senses a great personality behind the bow, these bon-bons brought off with tremendous wit and elan. And they are well recorded.

CONDITION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is VERY GOOD++. There is bumping/wear at corners and some mild discoloration to the rear panel, but that is all. There are no seamsplits, bends, or owners' markings and the whole remains very solid, bright, and glossy – overall, a lovely collector's copy.
The condition of the LP itself is EXCELLENT++. Although surfaces are not absolutely silent, really this is a fine copy and the playback is enjoyable. Those requiring a flawless or near-MINT copy are kindly advised to look elsewhere. Overall, this is an excellent collector's copy.
