Baron Elmo proudly presents a staggering vinyl document of shrine-levitating intensity from Japanese psychedelic warriors LES RALLIZES DENUDES: Fucked Up and Naked, a double lp issued by an unknown, unidentified label in 2003 in a single tiny pressing that disappeared all but instantly. One of the most sought-after bands of the early underground rock scene of Japan, Les Rallizes Denudes will kick open an attic door in your skull that you never knew existed. Cut over a span of more than 13 years, the five tracks that make up this lysergic monster are split between four sides of vinyl, ensuring the band adequate time to set the controls for the heart of the sun throughout. The two records -- one with plain white labels, the other with black -- are housed in a blank white sleeve with a loose lp-sized photo of LRD frontman Takashi Mizutani included. This package includes zero information, not even matrix numbers on the vinyl... but serious detective work from fans has given us a tentative track listing, seen below. Each lp side is freaktastic, but Side Four is the ace in the deck, taking the set out on a climactic (if not outright orgasmic) note with a 22 minute-plus track called "The Last One," a gradually massing epic with aggressive vocals, freaked out shards of psych-damaged guitar plus effects and echo galore.
