Description

Les Raving Sounds 4 track 7" EP single. "Empty Bottles" (Mike Metoff) and "Treat Her Right" (Metoff), flip side has "Earth Boy Dream of Angle" (Mike Hudson of the Pagans) and "Angela" (Hudson & Metoff). Record is new old stock, unplayed in M- condition. Mike Hudson was with the Pagans, of corse. Terminal records 4. The great Cleveland label that put out such great records as the Cleveland Confidential EP, Defniks 51% single, and the Broncs "Tele-K-Killing" single.....

Anyway this has the original sleeve made out of newspapers from the Cleveland Area at that time. These were assembled as needed, and the single sold so poorly many copies do not have sleeves. These sleeves are usually trashed or missing, as they are a single sheet of newspaper. This sleeve is easily VG+, some yellowing but no tears or rips.


Please note the printing on the labels is perfectly fine, the flash from my unprofessional camera skills reflected weird. I used the flash to attempt to capture the details better.


From Hudson's book "Diary of a punk" ..."Mike and I did a number of primitive recordings we would release in 1981 as an EP under the name Les Raving Sounds. Nick Knox (electric eels & The Cramps) played drums on some of that, and my sister Linda, who would later be the drummer of the Easter Monkeys, did the rest." (Pg 84) Lost and often overlooked and forgotten classic post art punk with legendary musicians from the Cleveland area.
