Description
Lovely original single sided studio/publishers Emidisc single sided acetate of this lovely UK 1960s girl pop classic, and slight pysch/folk sounding number
Recorded by the iconic UK singer Lesley Dawson for Mercury records the demo/acetate is for a 1967 track "Melancholy Minuet" which was used as the B Side for her Mercury Records release My Patient Heart (although some acetates show that it was also scheduled for the B side of a track called Kiss of Fire.
The acetate came from the Jarmanie Publishing House archive and is much rarer and desirable than demos that come up more often - as with all acetates a direct cut in studio so probably only 4-5 were made. Despite fragility of acetate this is a lovely copy and hardly shows play wear. It is VG++ as there are a number of light scuffs and marks on the surface which are visible but no significant defects. Plays excellent and nice clean and loud sound. In original Mercury sleeve of the time which is excellent.
Offered at a sensible BIN given the rarity and demand for this record in any condition.
