Mercury EP 1-4034
1959 Release made during their time promoting Martha White Flour.
The back side of the cover lists Earl Scruggs before Lester Flatt in the title. The record shows that the EP comes from the Mercury album Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs with The Foggy Mountain Boys.
Side 1: "I'll Never Shed Another Tear" / "Pain In My Heart"
Side 2: "Cora Is Gone" / "Foggy Mountain Breakdown"
Cover: Excellent There is a lightly discolored line running from top to bottom on the left side of the front cover. Otherwise this is a beautiful cover with great color, no seam splits, tight corners and no ring wear.
Please note: The back cover is an off-white color. The whiteness in the photo is from the black and white scan.
Record: VG+ (Play-Graded...Strict Standards) Bright, shiny with minimal light scratching or scuffing. This record is play-graded, and I did hear some light needle noise, but only rarely and without lessening the listening experience. No writing or stickers on labels.
We removed the record from the cover and placed it in a paper sleeve with an acid-free inner liner.
Both the record and the cover were then placed in an acid-free clear plastic sleeve and then placed in a larger acid-free clear plastic sleeve.
We will put the record back into the EP cover for shipping and will include the paper sleeve with the acid-free inner liner in the larger plastic sleeve.
