Lester Young-Buddy Rich Trio mono Norgran 1074 Black trumpet label deep groove
Lester Young (ts), Nat King Cole (p), Buddy Rich (d) Recorded 1946
The record looks VG++ and plays VG+. Norgran pressings usually play slightly noisy. Some light scuffing, not into the grooves on both sides. Quiet passages play with occasional light surface noise well below the level of the music. Grooves are bright and do not show wear or damage.
The cover is VG+.
The front cover has light wear and two small pieces of the slick missing at the pocket. The back cover has moderate wear and fading with small writing. Corners of the pocket have denting and small spots of heavy wear. Top seam is split app. 4 inches and is untaped. Spine is intact.
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on cover.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
