Description

This is an album of two 10 inch 78 rpm phonograph records. It is by the great jazz tenor saxophonist Lester Young. Prez was a mainstay in the Count Basie band; here he is with a rhythm section consisting of Big Sid Catlett on drums, Slam Stewart on bass and Johnnie Guarnieri on piano. Songs are I Never Knew, Just You, Just Me, Sometimes I'm Happy, and Afternoon Of A Basie-Ite. Album cover is very worn but intact; however the sleeve bottoms are open about 2 inches. Discs both have some noticeable rim flakes, not to the grooves, but discs are otherwise very nice, very light wear, a few very light scuffs, they play very well.
