Lester Young ' The immortal Lester Young ' SAVOY MG 12068 (USA) mono maroon label - on the label record is titled 'Blue Lester' - a compilation of Savoy 78 RPM previously released between 1944 and 1949 - originally issued on Lp 12" in 1956 as Savoy red label MG 12068 titled 'Blue Lester' - this is the early 60's maroon label issue - has the 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder stamped on trail-off (dead wax) Lester Young Quintet / Sextet with among others : Coiny Basie or Junior Mance : piano - Freddie Greene : guitar - Billy Butterfield or Jesse Drake : trumpet - Roy Haynes or Shadow Wilson : drums- Visual grading : record is EX full lustre has very light wear. Clean labels with minimal spindle wear
