"Lester Young with the Oscar Peterson Trio," 1952
RARE Norgran Records 10" LP, MGN 5, Mono
Very early 10" LP on Norgran Records (yellow label with trumpeter logo). Released on famous jazz impresario Norman Granz's own Norgran label, this album presents finest of the classic O.P. Trio: Peterson, piano; Barney Kessel, guitar; and Ray Brown, drums. The cover--complete with David Stone Martin illustration--shows some light wear; the bottom edge seems to have split, and was Scotch-taped by a previous owner. Vinyl is in very good condition, with some very minor (superficial) scratches; surface noise is not distracting. Be on the lookout for our other 10" jazz LP's!TRACK LISTING:
