Description
Leyla Gencer, Giulietta SImionato - EJS 166: DONIZETTI Anna Bolena (2 discs)
Two discs in E condition, plain LP cover. RAI Milano chorus and orchestra conducted by Andrea Gavazzeni and featuring Leyla Gencer, Giulietta SImionato, Clinio Clabassi, Silvio Maionica, Aldo Bertocci, Anna Maria Rota, Mario Carlin.
The privately issued recordings on this label are often of live performances, with all the ambient noises, electronic feedback and acoustic issues one would not encounter in a studio recording. What is found are some rare and at times exciting performances.
