Description
This is the 2nd recording of bandleader and composer, Leyo Peña y su Orquesta "Que Traigan el Son Cubano" from 1972 on the original first pressing on Inca Records, high quality heavy vinyl. Leyo had a nice run of popularity in Puerto Rico in the mid-1970s with 3, maybe 4 LPs plus a best of compilation. Produced by Ricardo Ray & Bobby Cruz Recorded in Puerto Rico Inca SLP 1030 (1972) Album Design in part by Izzy Sanabria Cantan: Terry Riviera y Toñito Alvarez
First pressing matrix numbers on both sides, Curiosity, not a single mention of its parent label Fania on the covers, record or catalog #, Fania appeared in subsequent Inca releases.
Vinyl: VG+ I found and bought this LP in the late 1980s at a renown NYC record shop's used bin, played it once to record. it's been stored in my collection for over 25 yrs. yellow logo label with black print
Jacket: Top edge has seam separation, side edge is intact-no seam separation-complete with the artist-title-cat # all intact, bottom edge has minimal wear, no seam separation. Most minimal rub wear on front towards top and bottom edges, upper front corner has remnants of a label. Back cover had 3 tracks with my ratings written in ink. Very minimal rub wear on back cover. I enhanced photos so as to be easily seen, see photos, the actual LP, not stock photos
